Puzzle

I stared at the puzzle in frustration. Would I ever be able to figure it out? It seemed every piece I tried just never fit. I was ready to give up and put the puzzle back in the box. But, as I worked, I thought. Isn't that a lot the way life is sometimes? It seems all the doors are such and we don't know where to turn next. Often life ends up looking like this:

But, God already sees it as finished. It isn't a puzzle to Him! And He knows just where each piece will fit and that in the end it will be a beautiful creation, like this:

So when life puzzles you, trust God's heart. He DOES know what he's doing, and where each puzzle piece fits; even when we don't understand, or we think it should be different.
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." (Isaiah 55:7-9)

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)

Thank you so much for reminding me of this today - I really needed to read that passage as it is so tempting to stop trusting in God's provision when things are not going our way, which is exactly the case for me at the moment. This really helped me to see how wrong it is for me to doubt my Saviour, when I have only limited vision and He sees it all! Thank you and may He bless you!

From your sister in Christ,
Violet
